Praise the Lord the entire family was in Sunday School
today. All went well and the people were excited with them. One lady said
another lady came up to her crying with joy that the family was walking down the
hall in the children's wing. We moved our adult class to the first floor so
Cindy and others in the class have eaier access to the class. It was really good
to have back in our class!!
Cindy's doctors visit this last Tuesday went very well. They do not believe she
will have to have any more surgeries on her leg until they go in to remove the
rod in 12 to 24 months. She has to remain on antibiotics for another 3 weeks.
The physical therapist told her to stop using the crutches and walk more. She
gets tired very easily but continues to do more each day.
Samuel continues to improve each day. They will schedule another CT scan for
this week. Providing all looks well they will cease the antibiotics for Samuel!
Cindy thinks that will be about May 28 or 29. I pitched about 40 times to Samuel
witha wiffle ball on the back porch the other day and he whacked the ball about
38 out of 40. His eye hand coordination seems to be very good! We took him with
us to my company picnic yesterday. He played pingpong, went to the petting zoo,
played on the sing set and sliding board and jumped on the moon walk. We were
able to arrange for him to be by himself in the moon walk so he would not get
knocked down by others. All the people at work were amazed at how Samuel has
improved and we were able to give God the glory to my fellow workers!
They all still need counselling. Yesterday several times at the picnic ballons
from the clown would pop and Samuel always was alarmed and said "GRANDPA WHAT
WAS THAT?" Also last night we had a lightening and thunder storm that bother all
the Wombles. They are still skitish and they flash back to that day when loud
nioses or explosion like events occur. Paul Wiseman has made himself available
but they have not been faithful to set up exact times and then keep the
appointments.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. That they would set the counselling appointments and make the time to go!
2. That Jeff could get rest. He still is not resting properly.
3. That they can schedule the CT scan and that it will come out clean so Samuel
can get off of the antibiotics.
4. That Cindy will continue to gain strength. That Cindy's mouth will heal from
canker/cold sores.
We thank everyone who has and continues to bring meals. Some ladies have agreed
to come each day to wash clothes and clean house for Cindy! God continues to
provide in His abundant grace theough His people.
Thanks again for all you have done for all of us!! May God be glorified!!

Praising God for YOU!
Dear Prayer Warriors.........
So many times these past seven weeks we have thought of you and thanked you in
our hearts for all your prayers on our behalf! What a concert of prayer has been
going on "on earth as it is in Heaven"! Now, finally, we are back in our own
home and I can get online again! It was simply WONDERFUL to be back in our home
church yesterday for the first time. The worship and message ministered to our
hearts and being able to see His glory and joy on everyone's faces blessed us
greatly!!! (Cindy and Jeff's still have this to look forward to as a family
which is a prayer request.) We have a great, mighty, powerful, loving God who
delights to work on His children's behalf!!! And we stand in awe as we praise
Him!!
Both Cindy and Samuel are out of the hospital now and home together as a family
as of last Thursday...PTL! They are both still on antibiotics taken through
their PICC lines three times each day for the next 4-6 weeks. (The PICC line is
the latest thing in IV's which are inserted into their arm.) they are still
fighting infection b/c shrapnel is not very sterile. Samuel is still a little
wobbly but improving daily. Both have physical therapy sessions 3 times a week
and Samuel is also getting speech therapy. The best therapy, tho, for him is
just being around Emily and Luke and trying to keep up with them. It is so
precious to watch the gentleness and care that they have for their brother.:)
FYI - For those of you in this area, Cindy has been asked to speak at the
Women's Tea time this Saturday at BSBC put on by the Women's Ministry. There
will be two Teas. One at 10:00 AM and one at 2:30 PM, Saturday, May 11. This
will be a special time for Mothers, Daughters, Friends, etc. I'm soooooooooo
thankful I can be there with my daughter!!!:) For reservations, just call the
church office @ 689-4229. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for
walking this incredible journey of joy with us! God has truly been and is being
glorified through all of us!

Dear Friends,
We can’t express how much we appreciate and truly feel your prayers for us – Jeff, Cindy, Samuel, Emily and Luke, Susan Womble, Rees, Frankie and now Dr. Wendell Nickerson. We love you all and can hardly wait to hug you and cry a little bit with you. Through all of this we have “supernaturally” experienced God’s Presence and Grace! His Grace is truly sufficient for us. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." II Corinthians. 12: 9b NIV. His word has ministered to us continually, particularly the Psalms, John 10, Ecclesiastes, Joshua, Nehemiah, etc.
Our word to you is to be encouraged. God is Faithful. He does sustain you and lift you up! When circumstances seem to go the wrong way, it never catches God by surprise. He is still on the Throne. God is good – All the time.
Trusting His Heart,
Rees & Frankie
