God is Still on His Throne
3-26-02 God is Still on His Throne
Friends and Family,
Tonight we are in great need of prayer support. We pray each of you will
agree together with us in these prayer requests as we lift our loved ones to
the Lord. We are especially in need of prayers on behalf of Samuel. As you
will see in the report, he is in critical condition. He is growing weaker
and needs the Divine Healer to touch him. Our heart's desire and prayer is
that he will have a FULL and COMPLETE recovery. Our hearts are heavy laden
but we are able to say God is being Faithful to give us rest.
"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden; and I will give you
rest." Matthew 11:28
Samuel
Friends, we really need prayers on behalf of Samuel. He is growing weaker
and weaker, and has signs of another infection. There is swelling under the
skin where the shrapnel entered Samuel's brain. Infection has started. The
doctor's are planning a surgery on Thursday morning in an attempt to get it
under control. Samuel will be put to sleep under general anesthesia, the
wound will be cleaned out and a patch will be put over the opening in
Samuel's skull. Samuel must have God's Healing Hand touch him at this time.
He is desperately in need of "one more miracle." We are so very thankful for
the many miracles he has already experienced over the last ten days. God has been Faithful. From his own mouth, Samuel said, "God is healing me." We
trust God with all our hearts and commit Samuel to Him whatever the outcome.
We trust God's love for Samuel....
Cindy
Cindy was able to have a phone conversation with Samuel today. Samuel was crying and immediately calmed down when he heard his Mommy's voice. She told him "Mommy knows it hurts because Mommy hurts too. Take a deep breath and Jesus will help you." Thank you, Lord, for giving Cindy the chance to
comfort Samuel. PLEASE PRAY Cindy is able to see Samuel tomorrow. If the
night goes well, the plans are to let Cindy visit with Samuel in the morning.
Now that she is in ICU, she is actually only a few doors down from him. We
feel it is imperative for both their healing that she be able to touch her
son and that Samuel would be able to feel his Mother's touch. PRAY.....
Cindy will remain in the ICU under observation for the next 24 hours. The
doctors have run a complete battery of tests on her. It has been confirmed
she did have some clotting but that it has dissolved. God is GOOD!
Jeff
Jeff spent the day with Samuel and will be spending the night with him
tonight. Please keep him in your prayers. He is physically tired, emotionally drained, and still recovering from the trauma of the accident. Samuel wants his Daddy at his side, and Jeff has been faithful to be there. Samuel calms down as Jeff talks with him and touches him. Please pray for a sustaining in Jeff's spirit and physical body. Please continue to pray for all of Jeff's medical conditions that have been put on the side in order for
him be there for Samuel.
Helping Hands
More helping hands will be arriving tomorrow. Friends of the Wombles and
their children will be arriving to help care for Emily and Luke and give them
playmates. The man will also be helping to expedite the Womble's return to
the States as soon as we have medical releases. This will help to free Rees,
Frankie, Jeff and Susan to be at the hospital 24x7. The logistics of taking
care of the vast array of needs has been quite a challenge for the family.
They are all growing weary, but still walking in God's Grace. We are
thankful God is providing more helping hands. Rees feels this will help to
relieve a lot of stress and provide some opportunity to rest. Please pray
for traveling mercies for this family.
Thank you from all of the family for your continued prayers and support. We
covet your prayers as we continue to walk in God's Grace trusting Him to
complete the Mighty Works He has begun.
"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is
in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen." Matthew 6:9-13
Thy Will be done...
