Friends and Family,
Our reports from the family tonight are that God is still working His
miracles...
All of the Wombles are enjoying being Stateside. They all long to be at home as
a family again, but are thankful they continue to be able to visit together at
the hospital. Rees said Samuel is getting stronger and more alert every single
day. Samuel is walking around, getting in and out of bed on his own, dressing
himself, and putting on his own tennis shoes. His therapy is going well. In
fact, Samuel is doing so well that hospital security made arrangements for Jeff
to be able to take Samuel fishing as part of his therapy. So, Jeff and Samuel
went fishing yesterday and today. Samuel and Luke also teamed up against Emily
and a nurse in a syringe water fight today. Not sure who won...but we were
thrilled to hear Samuel was well enough to play the game!!! We rejoice in
Samuel's, all the family's, continued healing!!
We have a very specific prayer request for Cindy. Cindy called to ask you to
pray as she may be facing another surgery in the morning. Surgery went well on
Friday; however, the doctors have cultured out another bacteria from her wounds.
It appears the first bacteria may be under control, but a new and different
bacteria is now present in the wound. Cindy needs our prayers. Please pray for
peace for her, wisdom for the doctors, and for yet another Healing Touch from
the Divine Physician. God is still in control...and we trust Him completely.
"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come
