Cindy
"Cindy is doing great!" Today's report on Cindy is she is a walking miracle. She
is moving around with her walker and crutches. She is getting stronger every
day. Her color is much better, hair is fixed, makeup is on, wounds are
healing...she is feeling good. We are praising the Lord for His Healing Touch on
Cindy!!!
Please continue to pray against any infection entering her body. Please keep
lifting her emotional and spiritual healing to the Father as well. Even though
the road to a full recovery is still a long way ahead of her, she is taking a
new step down that road each and every day. God is Faithful and His Grace is
sustaining her. Thank you for your prayers...
Samuel
Our report on Samuel today is he is a Living Testimony of our God's Great Power,
Mercy and Grace. His doctor said, "He is so much better today." Rees spent the
night with Samuel and then spent from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. with him. He said the
changes are remarkable:
Samuel is sleeping and waking normally. Samuel is eating and drinking on his
own. They were able to sit him up vertically to eat. His stomach pain is gone.
His overall pain has subsided to the point they are reducing pain medications.
His digestives systems are functioning normally and on their own. He gripped
Grandpa Rees's finger and squeezed it tightly...with his LEFT hand. He is much
more alert today. He is looking more like Samuel in his eyes. He was able to
follow a light with his eyes during the doctor's exam. He watched the medical
staff closely as they dressed and wrapped his wounds. A little bit of
humor...before they would touch him, he would say, "Stop, stop. You are hurting
me." This is encouraging as he seemed cognitively aware of what was going on and
responded with appropriate verbal reactions.
Samuel's wounds are healing nicely. The fluid in his knee was drained. It was
only fluid build up - no sign of infection. The emotional outbursts are better.
The swelling and the draining from the brain seem to be diminishing. The CAT
scan will have to confirm that, but outward appearances are healing is
occurring.
Samuel is at peace and relatively comfortable today. His head still hurts, but
is feeling much better overall. Rees actually said Samuel was feeling so much
better today that Samuel is bored! Sounds like a normal little six year old boy
who is tired of lying in bed! AMAZING...thank you, Lord, for your Healing Touch
on Samuel.
Specific prayer requests for Samuel are (1) the CAT scan would be able to be
performed tomorrow and that it would not present any new concerns, (2) Samuel
would be cooperative with his physical therapist, and (3) no infection would be
able to enter or remain in his body.
"God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us;
Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all
nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O
let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people
righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise
thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her
increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all
the ends of the earth shall fear him." Psalm 67 KJV
We pray God's Face will shine upon each of you. We pray He will keep you in His
Care and draw you ever so close to Him. We pray the praise of His People will
fill the Throne Room of God and the uttermost parts of the earth! We pray every
one who is standing in prayer with us will kneel to give the Divine Healer
thanks today for He has done great and mighty things. We thank Him and praise
Him for the miracles upon miracles we have witnessed. He is an AWESOME God!
