Friends and Family,
We have just received news that Cindy is out of surgery and doing well. The
doctors were able to implant another antibiotic bead and cleanse the wound
thoroughly. Cindy is in much less pain than she was following previous
surgeries. In fact, she has already been walking around with her walker this
afternoon. We are praising the Lord her body is healing and are asking Him to
obliterate the bacteria from her wound and not let it return.
Samuel is doing remarkably well. Tonight Samuel walked from the bathroom to the
couch without assistance while Luke was playing in Samuel's wheel chair. Cindy
jokingly said she was a little confused as to which one of her sons was the
patient! God is sooo good!!
The Womble family is enjoying being in the States again. They are continuing to
heal daily - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Jeff, Cindy, Samuel, Emily
and Luke are each getting stronger and are hopeful they will be able to resume
life together as a family very soon.
Words could never express to you how thankful we are for the prayers, the words
of encouragement, and the support you have been to our family during this time.
Please know we believe each of you have individually and corporately had a
tremendous impact on the outcome of this attack. "What satan intended for evil,
God has used for good." What the enemy sought to destroy, God has raised to walk
in newness of life. Those the enemy sought to kill, God has miraculously healed
and filled them with His Amazing Peace. Friends, God has answered the prayers of
His People!!! God has answered your prayers and ours!! Thank you for praying...
During this time, we have come to think of each of you as friends and family.
Your words of encouragement have been a wellspring of refreshment. Thank you. We
look forward to that Day when we can meet each of you face to face. Until then,
we trust God will keep you in His Care, in His Presence and in His Arms. As we
have shared before, in the same way we have ministered to the Womble family, our
hearts desire is to also minister to you and your family. If there is ever
anything we can do to encourage you in your walk with God, please feel free to
contact us.
Our prayer walking down this road has been that God would be glorified in word,
in deed, in truth, in love. People have been drawn closer to Him, a few have
come to know Him for the first time, whole Churches have experienced change
because of the call to prayer for the Wombles...God has been at work and we
believe He has been glorified! We pray God has been, is being and will be
glorified in you and in your life as well.
In John 15 verse 8, Jesus tells us, "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye
bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." Friends and Family, bearing
fruit brings glory to God. Our charge to the Wombles and to each of you is let
us make the last 41 days, almost six weeks, count for all eternity. Let us make
the sacrifices so many have made worth it. Let this time of dwelling in His
Presence, kneeling at the Throne Room of Grace, walking together in peace and
unity to only be the start of how God is glorified in all our lives. Take what
He has shown you during this time and use it to further His Kingdom, to bear
much fruit. Our prayer is God will be glorified in all the earth through each of
you.
Womble family, we rejoice with friends and family across the globe at the
wondrous things God has done for you. We have stood in prayer together and in
praise together as God has worked one miracle after another on your behalf. We
have together exalted His Name in all the earth!! As He completes your healing,
we pray you step forward and let Him use you in great and mighty ways. All of
our prayers will be with you as you complete this last leg of the marathon of
healing ahead. Our love and prayers remain with you as you go on to serve Him
with your healed lives. God has given you such a platform to minister to others
through this situation. We pray God's Peace and God's Grace be upon you. Let His
People surround you with His Love. We pray you will receive the Goodness of the
Lord through the hands of His People.
Friends and Family, on behalf of all the Wombles and Nickersons, we want to
thank each of you for standing with us and pray God's blessings upon you. We
pray you will continue to keep the Wombles in your prayers as they complete the
last leg of this marathon and go on to serve Him with the rest of their lives.
