Friends and Family,
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Psalm 121
Cindy
Cindy is continuing to improve. Her physical therapy is progressing rapidly.
She was able to walk out her door, into the hall and back to her bed today with
the aid of a walker. She is also able to get around her room with brace-like
crutches. Susan and Frankie were there with her. Frankie said it was a very
emotional time - many tears, much praising the Lord. What a miracle! Seventeen
days ago...and today she walks!! We serve an AWESOME God!
Samuel - Day Five
Prayer Warriors, please take Samuel to the Throne Room today and tonight in an
extra special way. Specific concerns: Samuel continues to be in a great deal
of pain, is still not able to urinate on his own, blockages continue to be an
issue, infection concerns on day five are still great, and his digestive systems
still need to begin functioning on their own. These are all critical issues to
his continued improvement medically. Samuel needs God to touch his body yet
again and "fix" all these problems for him. Samuel cries and screams for the
pain to go away. To a six year old, this has felt like a very, very, very long
battle. Please lift Samuel to the Father. Pray with us he will experience some
physical, emotional and spiritual relief. Samuel is very weary of all this. He
needs to see God for himself. He needs to experience God's Grace and Mercy and
Strength for himself. He has said he believes God is healing him. He has said
he felt God's Presence in the room with him. He needs a new Touch now...please
pray....
The catscan was postponed until tomorrow morning. We will send you an update with results as soon as we receive them.
Jeff
Jeff is home resting tonight. He spent the night with Samuel last night and was
with him today. Please pray for Jeff to get the rest he needs and for his
injuries to continue to improve. Pray for his continued emotional, physical and
spiritual healing and strength.
Grandparents
Rees will be spending the night with Samuel tonight. Please pray for he and
Samuel to have a blessed night together. Samuel's emotional outbursts and cries
of pain have been very traumatizing to all his caregivers. Please pray for
God's Presence to fill Samuel's hospital room tonight, for Samuel and Rees to
have time to share and rest together, and for God's Healing Hand to visit both
their bodies tonight. Rees could use a Touch from God. Frankie and Susan could
too. They have been operating on overload for some time now. Please lift them
up. They have asked specifically that we pray they walk in the spirit and they
would be filled with the fruits of the spirit - love, joy, peace,
long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. Please
pray...
Travel
Many of you have e-mailed with questions regarding the Wombles return to the
States. Our official statement is "we don't know when that will occur." As of
today, Cindy's doctor has indicated she would probably not be released to travel
for another three weeks. We are uncertain what Samuel's doctors' thoughts are
at this time. It is a little premature for them to issue any travel release
dates. Please understand both of their conditions continue to be critical.
Their conditions can change drastically either way during these days - your
prayers are coveted. We are all eager to get them to the States; however, none
of us are as eager to get them here as THEY are to get here. :) We will update
you with the status of their plans as we are released to do so. Please be
patient...God's booking the flights!
Special Prayer Request
Please lift up in prayer all the other victims involved in the attack. These
were all friends, coworkers, and loved ones of the Wombles. Many of them are a
part of all of our family, and we hope your family, the family of God. Many of
them are suffering physical injuries. Many of them lost loved ones in the
attack. All of them are suffering emotional injuries. Some of them are on this
prayer chain, and are grieving with us the injuries and suffering of the Wombles.
They are also grieving their absence from them. Please pray...our God is the
Gentle Comforter. Please pray...pray for them to see His Face, know His Love,
and experience His Touch.

Prayer Warriors, words cannot express how great our gratitude and thankfulness
to you for your faithfulness to pray. Only when we get to Heaven will we know
the full impact our prayers have had in the way this picture has unfolded. What
we do know is your love and prayer support have sustained the family, and for
this, we THANK YOU!!
We pray God is drawing you closer to Him while walking this road with us. Our prayer in every e-mail has been God would be glorified. We pray God is being glorified in your life as you read these updates. We pray God is being glorified in your life as you dwell in His Presence in the Throne Room on their behalf. We pray God is being glorified in your life as you draw closer to the Father. As we minister to our immediate family, our heart's desire is to also minister to you and your family.
