Samuel is Coming Home
5-2-02 Samuel is Coming Home,
Friends and Family,
"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his
compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22, 23 KJV
Great is His Faithfulness!!! SAMUEL IS COMING HOME!!
Samuel is scheduled to be released from the hospital today at 2 p.m. He will
continue physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy two to three
times a week as an outpatient. He will remain on antibiotics for two to three
weeks. The doctors are very affirming Samuel will be able to have a full and
complete recovery.
Cindy continues to improve daily. She will continue to have physical therapy two
to three times a week. She will remain on antibiotics for five weeks. Cindy is
getting stronger and is very thankful to be out of the hospital. Please keep her
in your prayers for continued healing and for a smooth transition back into
daily life as a wife and mother.
Jeff, Cindy, Emily, Luke and Samuel will spend their first night all together as
a family since the attack tonight. They have run far in this marathon and the
end is in sight. Pray for each step of their recovery to find at the end of its
path a full and complete healing - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We
are thankful for the ways all of their needs are being met. Thank you to each
person who has stepped in to help bear their burdens. May God bless you greatly
for your kindness.
SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST
The Wombles are scheduled to hold a press conference at 6 p.m. this evening.
They will then be interviewed at the National Day of Prayer Meeting at 7 p.m.
The media has been invited to be present at the prayer meeting as well. Jeff has
asked that we pray for wisdom and boldness and energy for each of them.
When the call first came in the early hours of March 17, the song was...
Think about His Love,
Think about His Goodness,
Think about His Grace that's bro't us through.
For as high as the heavens above,
So great is the measure of our Father's Love.
Great is the measure of our Father's Love.
As we think about His Love, His Goodness, the way He's brought everyone through,
we stand in awe at HOW GREAT IS THE MEASURE OF OUR FATHER'S LOVE! As we pause to
pray today on this National Day of Prayer, we offer praise to God for all He has
done on behalf of the Womble family. We offer praise for His Presence and His
Grace and His Love surrounding us during this time. Sooooo many miracles, so
much Grace, so much Love...we thank you and praise you, Father, for You alone
are worthy to be praised.
Thinking about His Love,
Nick and Donna Nickerson
