Friends and Family,
"It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3:23
"Great is Thy Faithfulness, Oh God, Our Father. There is no measure of turning with Thee. Thou changest not. Thy Compassions they fail not. As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be. Great is Thy Faithfulness. Great is Thy Faithfulness. Morning by morning, new mercies I see."
We just wanted to thank you once again for your prayers, your support, your love. God has drawn His Family together to pray on behalf of the Womble family. He has drawn people to Himself. His Name has been glorified in all the earth. As we write this e-mail Churches literally all across the world are lifting the Wombles up in prayer. Prayer vigils are being set up to cover Samuel in prayer as he goes into surgery tomorrow morning. We just felt a tremendous need to encourage you tonight. So many hearts are heavy right now. Our hearts are heavy...
But...Praise God...Great is His Faithfulness! His compassion's fail not. His Mercies are new every morning! And...they will be for our precious Samuel tomorrow morning. God is God! "It is He who hath made us and not we ourselves. We are His People and the sheep of His Pasture. Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His Name. For the Lord is good. His mercy is everlasting and His Truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100
Jeff said tonight before he went to bed, "Samuel is God's Child....God has a plan for his life....God saved him and put a call on his life...all we can do is get out of the way and let God be God."
Samuel, even at his young age, has already surrendered his heart and life to the Lord. A prayer friend reminded us this morning of the song many of us sang in Sunday school as a child. "This little light of mine. I'm going to let it shine. This little light of mine. I'm going to let it shine." Oh how brightly little Samuel's light has been shining. So many people have been drawn to the Lord through the attack. Hearts and lives have been changed. Samuel has been able to touch more people lying in that bed than many will ever touch in their entire lives. His light has not been hidden under a bushel and satan has not been able to blow it out. God does have a plan for Samuel's life. He is fulfilling part of it tonight as all over the world Samuel's light is shining...all the time.
Whatever the outcome of tomorrow morning's surgery, our God is a Faithful and Pure and Trustworthy God. He is a Good God. His Love lasts forever. We have committed Samuel to Him and to His Will. Please know and hear our hearts as we say, "Father, Thy Will be done." Our prayer is Samuel will experience a true Touch from the Master's Hand tonight. It is the prayer of our hearts that Samuel will have a FULL and COMPLETE recovery. It is the desire of our family that he be made whole. We know Whom we have believed. He is God. He is our God. He is God if He chooses to heal Samuel here on earth. He is God if He chooses to heal Samuel in Heaven. We serve an AWESOME God!!!
