Friends and Family,
The orthopedic surgeons have determined surgery on Cindy needs to go ahead and be done on the bone to stabilize it. They do not feel waiting for the wound to heal is an option. That was the best of the scenarios in order not to complicate her condition. The reconstructive and exploratory surgery will begin at 7 a.m. ET. and will include going ahead and putting a screw into the bones. It is critical that the infection be contained and not contaminate the bone. Please pray.
Samuel had a cat scan today and the cat scan looks encouraging. Samuel has yet to regain consciousness though. The doctors are troubled about this. This is not a good sign. We covet your fervent prayers on his behalf. Frankie has been with Samuel all night and has not had any sleep. Pray for continued strength for her.
