Urgent Prayer for Samuel
3-25-02 URGENT Prayer for Samuel
Friends and Family,
We have an urgent prayer request. Samuel has developed an infection in the knee. The doctors are evaluating him right now to determine whether or not
to go in and do surgery. We were told this was very serious. If they decide
to do surgery, it will be done in the next 24 hours. Prayer warriors, hardly
a place on Samuel's body is without a wound. Each of those wounds also has
a bruise around it. He continues to be in a great deal of pain. Frankie
said when he is awake, he is crying and screaming. It is very difficult on
Rees who sits with him during the night, and Susan and Jeff who sit with him
during the day. His head, neck, back, legs, arms, everything hurts. Please,
please pray the pain will subside. Our hearts are breaking for him to be in
so much pain...
Father, right now in the Name of Jesus, we ask You to take away the pain from Samuel's body. Lord, heal him. Complete the miraculous work You have
already begun. God, we ask You for a FULL and COMPLETE miracle. Father,
guide the doctors right now as they evaluate Samuel. Give them Your Wisdom. We commit Samuel to You for we know how much You love Him. We love You, Lord. In the Precious Name of Jesus we pray...
PLEASE also pray for Cindy. The doctors attempted to put her into a wheel
chair to go see Samuel this morning. She almost passed out. She is still
too weak and her blood count is just too low to be vertical. Her spirit was
very heavy so the doctor's said they would arrange to have Samuel brought to
her. All of that has now changed once again. PLEASE pray she can see
Samuel!!!! This continues to be the hardest part of the whole ordeal for
Cindy. She NEEDS to see with her own eyes her little boy. Cindy is very
upset about Samuel's infection. She is extremely concerned. Please pray...
Elizabeth is heading to the airport to travel home as we speak. Please keep
her in your prayers too. Ask God to bless her greatly for the sacrificial
love she has shown this past weekend. She has been a blessing! Thank you,
Elizabeth!!! God bless you!!!!
Please uplift the family. They are weary...resting in God's Grace and
Goodness in their spirits, but weary in their flesh. Your prayers are
coveted.
Trusting in Him,
Nick and Donna
